About Us

Our two sons, Brendan & Brian, are officially part of our business (they get paid now) and we are still using the machinery we made out of recycled parts. We are very happy to be back after making these changes.

First it was a thought, an idea, a comment, a suggestion, trial & error, a long wait, a test, hard work,
then humble joy.
(and still hard work, really)

It was inevitable, a mission, our purpose.

Our Story

Many years ago, Charlie Ambrose, with a need to solve his own composting problems (with a bad back), here in the desert, designed this unique tool. When his sister-in-law, Vicky, saw how well it worked she thought others might find it useful. Sharon, who was home raising their two young sons, started Lotech Products part-time. We have come a long way over the years & our sons have grown, but we still make each one with care, by hand, on the same machines Charlie made from recycled parts. We use American material and have just had our two sons follow us into the business, learning to make the tool, helping Dad, & helping in the office, where Mom lives (almost kidding).

We thank everyone who has supported us.

We are grateful.
Our most sincere thank you to our beloved Vicky and to the Tucson Organic Gardeners.
And to all of our customers...
We truly would not be here if it were not for all of you.

Most sincerely,
The Ambrose Family

We make eco-friendly choices in our office.
