13th Annual Real Gardens for Real People Garden Tour

Once again, we happily found ourselves participating as a vendor at the Real Gardens for Real People Garden Tour in El Mirage, near Phoenix, Arizona, on the 14th of March. Master Gardeners & Master Composters from the University of Arizona's Cooperative Extension put on this tour every year, and they always have their own booth with gardening information and teaching composting. We had the good fortune, this time, to be set up right next to these good people. We had the best time visiting with them, and everyone was wonderful to us! A lot of people came by and got a chance to try out our tools, in person. All of the gardens consisted of raised beds, each owned by an individual person or group. The one closest to us was called the Victory Garden and included small scale military vehicles! All had the most beautiful vegetables and flowers, decorated with a theme. We want to thank all those who came out and bought a tool or just talked with us. Everyone made the trip worth every minute! You can see our booth here on Instagram.

12th Annual Real Gardens for Real People Garden Tour

On March 22nd, 2014 we, again, had the pleasure of being a vendor at the Real Gardens for Real People Tour, hosted at Broadmore Elementary School in Tempe, AZ. The school gardens boasted a fantastic composting demonstration (featuring our tool!), and a fascinating worm composting presentation. The kids were growing watermelon, peppers, and the largest (and most beautiful) Globe Mallow bushes we have ever seen! Thank you to everyone who bought our tool. Many happy turns!

11th Annual Real Gardens for Real People Garden Tour

On Saturday, March 31st 2012, we had the great pleasure to be a vendor at the 11th Annual Real Gardens for Real People Garden Tour hosted by the Master Gardeners of the University of Arizona College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Cooperative Extension Office in Maricopa County. We were at Mike's beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona home with the most lovely and wonderful garden. We will have some pictures added, soon. The winner of our giveaway was the lucky number 13,  Pam K. from Phoenix. She's receiving a copy of the book, Composting For Dummies (our tool is in it) written by one of the Master Gardeners, Cathy Cromwell, a handmade & printed original pea pod drawing bookmark from CreativeRis on etsy, and a sweet smelling almond soap by Casswell Massey. We'll be getting you your winnings within the week. Congratulations, Pam! And thank you to all of the participants who purchased our tool. It was a fun day! Happy Composting, everyone!
